Item Description
4-3/8x6.25" album's title translates to "TV Comics Album" and features 20 pages, 18 of those having six 1.75" dia. round cardstock cards per page (last page has three cards per side for total of six). Published in Spain for the Spanish market by Reyauca, 1970s. Marvel and DC Comics characters (as well as a myriad of additional cartoon characters) are featured throughout, w/images of Spider-Man and Thor cards on front cover along w/Bugs Bunny, Felix the Cat and Space Pirate Captain Harlock. Marvel characters of note include - Incredible Hulk, Vision, Falcon, Thor, Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch. DC characters of note include - Hawkman, Flash, Golden Age Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Jimmy Olsen and Cobra. Other characters depicted include - Battle of the Planets characters, Rin Tin Tin, Little Beaver, Alley Oop, Popeye characters, Red Ryder, Heathcliffe, Turok, Beetle Bailey, Joe Carioca, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Scrappy Doo, Lassie, The Flying Nun, The Count from Sesame Street, Elmer Fudd, Woody Woodpecker, Wendy the Good Witch, Hot Stuff, Mandrake the Magician, Hagar the Horrible, Speedy Gonzales, Spooky the Tuff Little Ghost, Kojak and many others. Every page shown online. Album features complete set of 108 different cards as well as additional six on last two pages. These are repeated cards 106-108, which were specifically added, as intended, to win prizes. Cards 106-108 appear on both of the last two pages. Album has some lt. aging and handling wear but is VF/Exc. overall w/cards ranging from EX to NM. Interesting Spanish issue, featuring a veritable treasure trove of characters.
