11x15.5" thin DC comic art board featuring original pencil art by noted comic book artist Curt Swan (1920-1996), best known as the artist most associated w/Superman titles during the period fans and historians call the Silver Age of comic books. Swan produced hundreds of covers and stories from the 1950s through the 1980s. Offered here is the original art for page 1 of "Superman" #275, published by N.P.P. in May 1974. Issue was written by Cary Bates w/interior art by Curt Swan and inks by Vince Colletta. Storyline "The Dragonfly Invasion Of Metropolis". Opening title three panel page shows Superman battling giant dragonfly. N.P.P. copyright stamp. Scattered handling wear/aging. Aged Superman stat at top. One type cut-in at top that was then whited out w/paste over. Indicia taped on four sides at bottom of page. Signed by Curt Swan. VF.
