Item Description
14.25x21.25" large art board is the second of a five page Chapter 2 story "The Mystery Of Flash's Third Identity" from The Flash Vol. 1 #141 page 12, December 1963. This five panel page and the additional four pages being offered comprise the entire Chapter 2 story. Story was written by John Broome. Graphite pencil art by Carmine Infantino (1925-2013) w/inks by Joe Giella. Brief story synopsis has the Flash, on the trail of The Top, coming across a tailor (Paul Gambi) who makes costumes for super-heroes and is lured into a trap that ultimately backfires. Page depicts The Flash continuing to pursue the Top that has created four replica images fleeing in different directions and him trying to grab the second false image of The Top and slamming into a wall. Stat at top of page with logos. Larger artboard has some lt. margin handling/dust soiling but art remains clean. Small usage of white-out. VF. A great page w/Flash and The Top in four panels and a kneeling profile of The Flash in the last panel. See additional four lots for your opportunity to own the whole chapter.
