Item Description
Lot of three 11x17.25" Marvel artboards feature pen and ink original art by Leandro Fernández for Incredible Hulk Vol. 2 #36, published by Marvel Aug. 2003. Art is for pages 2-3 and 5, showing Bruce Banner alone on a subway platform where he is joined by Pamela Grayson (who unknown to Banner, is possessed by Carl Creel, The Absorbing Man). A strange look comes over Pamela's face just before she pushes Banner in front of the rushing train. Last panel shows Banner transforming into The Incredible Hulk, effectively stopping/wrecking the subway train. This panel has attached vellum overlay w/lead pencil shading and inked note to colorist Steve Buccellato regarding use. Each artboard has inked "Hulk" title at top along w/issue/pages numbers. Backs of each have Marvel copyright inkstamps. Art remains clean and Exc.
