Item Description
13x19" artboard features pen and ink original art for Cave Girl #13, published by Magazine Enterprises 1954. Art is by Bob Powell (1916-1967), a comic artist known for his work during the Golden Age of comics, including Sheena, Queen of the Jungle and Mr. Mystic. Powell also did the pencil art for the iconic bubble gum trading card series Mars Attacks. Art is for page 28 of The Jungle Badman story and features seven panels, showing man being captured by Bobo, only for man to turn the tide on him. Cave Girl appears to rescue Bobo, appearing in last three panels, tossing man in last. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Art remains clean and Exc.
