Item Description
13.5x19.5" Strathmore artboard has pencil and ink original art by Gil Kane. Art is for page 30 of "Undersea Agent" #4, published by Tower Comics August 1966. Page from "To Save A Monster" story features seven panels, showing Professor Weston and Lt. Davey Jones fighting a Kraken like sea monster which (spoiler) is really the character Skooby who trips earlier in the lab and is exposed to a chemical mixture that makes him transform into the monster. Monster in two panels plus hand in a third. Top margin has handwritten issue/page numbers. Back has Comics Code Authority inkstamp and some penciled head partial sketch. Artboard has some scattered soiling/dust soiling at margins, but art remains clean and VF overall.
