2" tall metal "Vulcan" lighter. c. 1950s. Attached enameled metal insignia is for submarine "U.S.S. Dogfish SS 350" and depicts Pluto wearing diving helmet with tubes as he is underwater holding a mermaid. Lid also has engraved design of two large fish on either side of a ship. Scattered surface wear, silver luster off extreme rim edge of insignia attachment but all paint remains. Lid won't close tightly. Fine. First we've seen. Comes with recent photo of the submarine as well as corresponding insignia patch plus print-out featuring the sub's history.
