Item Description
1.25". A.R. Lopez & Bro. of Boston, Mass back paper. Image of Indian in a headdress (which matches the one found on the "Rooters" ribbon badge we offered in our Sept. 2020 auction). This 1914 Boston Braves club won the National League pennant with a record of 94-59 under manager George Stallings. Leadership of the team fell upon the keystone duo of National Baseball Hall of Famers Johnny Evers (2B) and Rabbit Maranville (SS). The Braves would go on to sweep the Philadelphia Athletics in four straight to take the 1914 World Series. Glossy, Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
