Item Description
1.75". No maker. Shown in Brooklyn Dodgers cap. This same photo appears on buttons with both white and blue backgrounds. This yellow background variety is rarely seen. He began his MLB career w/the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1948 following a storied career in the Negro Leagues, playing primarily for the Baltimore Elite Giants team during the early-mid 1940s. Campy would spend his entire 10 year MLB career w/the Dodgers, winning three National League MVP awards in the process. Campanella finished his career w/a batting average of .276 along w/242 home runs and 856 RBI's. Campanella was selected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969.
