Item Description
18.5x23" Superior Illustration Board features mixed media original art for cover to unpublished, proposed Divorce Detective magazine by American artist Gil Cohen, noted for his illustrations in men's magazines, books and movie posters. Late 1960s art features titular Divorce Detective private investigator bursting through door w/camera, snapping photos of cheating couple, naked in bed. Image area measures 14.75x18.75" and features hand-lettered title at top. Cohen has signed at lower left. Black margins have glue residue as once matted, and art has since had black matte added. Art remains Exc. for display.
