Item Description
15.75x17.75" frame contains sheet w/fully rendered pencil original art showing Mickey Mouse playing piano while Pluto lays atop piano, singing along. Both wear Santa hats and both piano and base have Christmas holly designs. 1980s. Art was used as concept for statue and was created by Jim Engel, who worked on the Mickey Mouse comics (as well as working on DC Comics). Engel has signed in black ink at lower right. Sheet has scattered lt. handling creases and has been attractively double-matted in holiday colors to 11x12.75". VF/Exc. and ready for display.
