Item Description
Earl Duvall (1898-1969), was an artist and animator best-known for his work on Disney comic strips in the early 1930s and for a handful of animated short films he directed at Warner Bros. Cartoons. Duvall started as a layout artist at Disney and later worked as a member of the story department at Walt Disney Productions. During this time, he also worked as a cartoonist on the Mickey Mouse daily strip and the Silly Symphony Sunday comic strip. During his time w/Warner Bros. he was responsible for the creation of early Looney Tunes character Buddy. Offered here is Duvall's personal "Walt Disney Productions Ltd. - Mickey Mouse Sound Cartoons" business card from the early 1930s (as evidenced by the studio's Hyperion Ave. Hollywood address), measuring 1-15/16x3.5". Card features classic full body image of Mickey Mouse. Card has some lt. corner tip wear but o/w displays Exc. From the Estate of Disney Artist Earl Duvall.
