Item Description
11x17" thin Marvel Comics artboard features artist Sal Buscema's pen and ink original art for page 26 of "Spectacular Spider-Man" #212, published by Marvel May 1994. Seven panel page features an Spider-Man battling Master of Vengeance, w/Spider-Man webbing Master of Vengeance's power gauntlets and ripping them off his hands. In anger, Spider-Man berates him as he puts the gauntlets on himself. Top margin has stamped title and handwritten issue/page numbers. Margins have scattered production notations. Buscema has signed lower left at edge of sixth panel beside Spider-Man's image in black felt tip pen. Word balloons and sound effect in third panel are paste-over stats, which show some scattered aging. Bottom center has small page number paste-over. Top center margin has pin holes. Artboard has faint horizontal crease above bottom two panels. Art remains clean and displays VF.
