Item Description
13-7/8x28.25" frame has artboard w/India ink original art that has been professionally framed and matted to 6.25x20.5". Art is for Sept. 28, 1957 daily strip by José Luis Salinas and features three panels showing The Cisco Kid consoling crying woman, who reveals she let The Black Ghost get away in last panel. KFS copyright strip paste-over in first panel. Salinas has signed last panel. Some aging to screentone accents and lt. scattered margin soiling, but o/w art remains clean and VF. A superb example by Salinas who drew "The Cisco Kid" comic strip from 1951 to 1968.
