Item Description
14x20" artboard has pen and ink original art by Johnny Hart for Dec. 6, 1970 Sunday page. First panel features "B.C." title stat and page has 10 panels. First two panels feature two insects, one flattened, explaining he fell asleep in a basketball. Main story deals w/ B.C. explaining the new game he invented, "basketball" to Peter. Giving a demonstration, B.C. tosses ball into air and slices it in two w/sword, explaining "There. A Basket For You, And A Basket For Me!" Title has inked inscription reading "To Cathy, Who Has Enjoyed B.C. For 'Girls'. Sincerely, Johnny Hart." Hart has also signed last panel. Printed Field Enterprises copyright in third panel. Two horizontal folds as mailed, back has strip of aged masking tape along top edge, not affecting front's display. Some scattered faint age spots, but not distracting. Art remains clean and VF overall.
