Item Description
10x11.75" acetate sheet and sheet of animation paper feature animation used in production of 1960s Winston cigarettes commercial, as Winston was a sponsor of "The Flintstones" and their ads featuring Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble were played during broadcast. Animation paper features just Fred's collar and hand while cel features hand-painted head, arm and hand, which holds cut-out photo of actual Winston cigarette in hand. Paper has some handwritten production notations and has even moderate aging. Cel's paint has become partially adhered to paper, w/some pulls/flaking of paint. Area opposite Fred has slight staining from another image of Fred. Fine overall.
