Item Description
14x20.25" artboard has pen and ink original art by Don Heck for page 20 of "Tales To Astonish" #39, published by Marvel Jan. 1963. Page features six panels from "Ozamm The Terrible" story, showing Ozamm changing New Yorkers, switching men and women's heads w/each other and animals as well as holding the Hudson River above them, threatening to drop it on the city. Top margin has handwritten "Tales Astonish" title and issue/page numbers, page number repeated in black marker at lower right. Back has Comics Code Authority inkstamp and small inked letter at top left. Artboard has scattered handling wear/dust soiling and shows moderate staining along left side, affecting first, third and fifth panels. Top/bottom left also has some aging from tape. VG overall.
