Item Description
13-7/8x21.5" artboard has pen and ink original art by Jack Kirby (inked by Dick Ayers) for page 9 of "Journey Into Mystery" #80, published by Marvel, May 1962. Art is from last page of "Won't You Step Into My Parlor?" cover story and features nine panels showing old man gloating over collapsed rival, whose weak heart gave out from shock due to prank. A gypsy curse makes the prank fall back on the old man, where he shrinks and is eaten by his cat. Top margin has abbreviated "Journey" title and issue/page number in black grease pencil. Large page number in black felt tip pen at lower right. Back has Marvel copyright stamp and Comics Code Authority stamp. Artboard has some lt. handling wear, but art remains clean and Exc.
