Item Description
13-5/8x22-5/8" thin artboard has pen and ink original art by Robert Webb for page 29 of "Fight Comics" #85, published by Fiction House March 1952. Art was for Rip Carson story and page features six panels, showing Rip Carson and crew eating before heading out only to spot advancing Chinese warplanes. Communist soldiers parachute from these planes, along w/war equipment and set up mortars in second to last panel as Rip and crew scramble in last panel. Top margin has large inkstamped title and issue/page numbers as does bottom margin. Scattered margin wear w/1/8" and .5" tears along top margin. Artboard is VF overall w/Exc. art.
