Item Description
11x17" DC Comics artboard w/vellum overlay attached at top has pencil original art by Marshall Rogers that has been inked by John Cebollero. Art is for page 42 of "Realworlds: Batman," published by DC in 2000. Page features 10 panels, showing landlord Mike Kelley fighting against thugs who rob Clarissa Beal of her money and drugs. Second to last panel shows Charlie Duffy (a mentally handicapped adult obsessed w/the "Batman" TV show and who thinks he is Batman) leaping to the rescue in homemade Batman costume (which includes Ideal's 1966 Batman Helmet) before tripping over railing. Of note, Charlie referred to his landlord as Alfred and Clarissa joined him in his make-believe as Robin. Screentone accents in every panel. Top margin has inked title and page number. Back has DC copyright stamp. Screentone accents have yellowed w/age but art is o/w Exc.
