6-3/8x25.75" artboard w/pen and ink original art by "Red Ryder" creator Fred Harman. Art is for Jan. 1, 1941 and features three panels, w/Red Ryder, Little Beaver and Professor Adams exploring canyon for the fabled "City Of Gold." Little Beaver spots native cliff houses in last panel. Harman has signed last panel, which also has NEA Service, Inc. copyright strip. Artboard has penciled "The Goal" title at top and blue pencil date at upper right margin. Back has inkstamp w/penciling publication information. Artboard has some dark margin aging along right and at bottom of vertical fold at center. VG/Fine overall while art is Fine/VF.
