Item Description
4-3/8x17.25" artboard w/three panels w/India ink original art by "Barney Google And Snuffy Smith" creator Billy DeBeck. Art is for Nov. 16, 1937 daily strip and features Snuffy Smith and his wife Loweezy discussing the possibility that their donkey Honey Pot had been poisoned. When Snuffy mentions getting the castor oil (to induce vomiting), Honey Pot runs away, knocking Snuffy off his feet. Art has been signed by DeBeck in last panel, which also has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Back has "'Pep' For Honey Pot!" title written in blue pencil. Panel has aged screentone accents, which have darkened considerably. Artboard and art are o/w VF overall.
