Item Description
11x17" thin Marvel Comics artboard features artist Ron Wilson's pen and ink original art for page 4 of the Nov. 1991 issue of "Web Of Spider-Man" #82, published by Marvel. Wilson is noted for his work on comic books starring the Fantastic Four member The Thing, including "Marvel Two-in-One" and "The Thing," working on the character from 1975 to 1986. Page features three panels, top featuring splash page showing Spider-Man standing amidst the ruins of a sports bar, nursing the wounds he received battling Man Mountain Marko. Spider-Man says he's headed home for some chicken soup and bed rest before being told Marko has kidnapped a child. At this news, Spidey swings off in pursuit. Page has been inked by Don Hudson. Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers as well as some production notations. Text has two small editorial paste-overs and bottom center margin has page number paste-over taped down. Scattered white correction fluid along bottom margin. Hole punch at center left and file punch at center right margins. Moderate handling wear w/some scattered staining to Spider-Man's knee in last panel. Fine overall w/VF art.
