Item Description
Two thin artboards, w/overall size of 215x28" has pen and ink original art by Raeburn Van Buren for April 6, 1941 "Abbie An' Slats" Sunday page. Large title paste-over in first panel has aged. Page features total of 13 panels, w/topper panel having portrait of Milton Moonbeam, who owns corner lot in town and demands steep price to sell so that children no longer need play in the street. Abbie confronts Moonbeam over this fact and he yells at her. Partial copyright strip at bottom of fifth panel. Margins show moderate scattered wear and aging w/corner foxing and 3/8" corner piece off upper right of bottom piece. Artboards are VG overall. Art has some aging at edge of exterior panels but o/w remains clean and Fine to VF.
