Item Description
7.25x9.5" hardcover w/applied cover label and 122 story pages nicely illustrated by "Gasoline Alley" creator Frank King. The Reilly & Lee Co. ©1924. Storyline tells of how Walt Wallet found Skeezix as an infant through his first early years. Frontispiece has been signed in black ink by King, who has added "Good Wishes From Uncle Walt And Frank King" inscription along w/nice sketch (inked pencil sketch) of Uncle Walt winking. Book was signed to King's niece Ann (see item #1478) and sketch was added later. Book shows moderate wear w/split inside front cover and corner tip wear. Scattered lt. color rubs to cover label, which has corner crease. Book is Fine overall, but signature/sketch page remains Exc.
