Item Description
Sam Gold developed several "cockpit" punch-out sets during the 1950s and this 8x10.75" sheet of vellum features fully realized colored pencil original art for "Captain Video Electronic Panel," which features wonderful space age design, including"Position Plotting Rocket, Signal Code Slider, Space Dial Showing Stars, Starter Switch, Positioning Knobs For Tele View Screen" and "Signal Codes" which all have hand-lettered labels in pencil. 5.25" diagonal corner crease at lower left and sheet is evenly aged but o/w VF. Comes w/original publicity photo for Gold's "Pre-Flight Trainer" cock-pit, which was used as photo reference for the Captain Video version depicted on sheet). 7-7/8x10.5" vellum features fully realized colored pencil original art for "Captain Video Walkie Talkie," which has hand-lettered caption at bottom right noting features. Sheet has some moderate aging w/some glue staining on back showing through. Fine/VF. Unique pair. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
