Item Description
Three pieces of mixed media original art for late 1950s space-related premium. 5.5x7-5/8" cut out panel for inset cereal box advertisement noted enclosed "Free Plastic Satellite And Rocket Launcher Inside This Package." Mixed media original art has been cut out and applied to slightly larger sheet. VF/Exc. w/just lt. wear. 7.5x14.5" thin artboard has mixed media original art for four different rocket premiums, all having hand-lettered name underneath - "Jupiter, Thor, Snark, Corporal." Pinholes at corners and trace dust soiling but VF overall. 4-5/8x9.5" prototype is neatly labeled "Shelf Talker" in pencil and has pasted stat w/illustration for Bosco premium, w/hand-lettered "'Out Of This World' Offer" and "Satellite" text in white paint. Right panel has small hand-lettered text for mailing information regarding this premium. Scattered aging/wear. Fine overall. Unique lot. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
