Item Description
11x16-3/8" artboard has pen and ink original art for page 22 of "Amazing Spider-Man" #247 published by Marvel Comics in Dec. 1983. Art by John Romita Jr. and inked by John Romita Sr. Page features six panels, five of which are tall and thin in nature. These show Spider-Man meeting w/and leaving the second Frog-Man (Eugene Patilio), having given him advice about being a hero. Fourth panel shows larger image of Black Cat in bkg. as Spider-Man thinks about her. Spider-man appears in four panels, w/last panel showing Peter Parker in his photo lab developing pictures. Back has 1983 Marvel copyright stamp and penciled Romita names. Top left has stamped "Amazing Spider-Man" title and inked issue/page numbers. Top left and bottom corners have been clipped, w/slight edge trim at top left. None of this affects art, which remains clean and would display Exc. if matted and framed. Bottom margin has been signed in black felt tip pen by both Romitas.
