Item Description
7.25x22.75" thin artboard w/India ink original art by "Terry And The Pirates" creator Milton Caniff. Art is for Dec. 26, 1936 and features four panels, w/Terry and Pat sitting down for Christmas feast w/Pyzon, who hopes for success in coming plan to "Save My Army From The Dragon Lady!" Caniff has signed second panel. First panel has Chicago Tribune/NY News Syndicate copyright strip. Top left has inked "Terry" name at left margin and inked "Toast From The Host" title at right. Back has Tribune Engravers Room and rush notice inkstamps. Scattered dust soiling/aging w/single pin hole at top corners and additional pin holes above title at right. Artboard has some corner foxing and is Fine overall. Art has some scattered staining to word balloons in first and last panels but is o/w clean and VF.
