Item Description
7.25x23" thin artboard w/India ink original art by "Terry And The Pirates" creator Milton Caniff. Art is for Oct. 31, 1945 and features four panels, w/April Kane arguing w/her Japanese host/maid, who then kicks her out of the house. Caniff has signed second panel. First panel has News Syndicate Co., Inc. copyright strip and post-war "Victory Loan" paste-over. Top left has inked "Terry" name at left margin and inked "Must Be A Double House" title at right. Top of first panel has blank paste-over strip w/slight surface paper lift from underside of April's bosom. Scattered dust soiling/aging to margins w/single pin hole at top corners. Artboard is Fine overall. Art has faint streak of staining to April's face in second panel and minor surface scuff in last panel. Art is o/w clean and Fine/VF.
