Item Description
11x17" thin Marvel Comics artboard features artist Sal Buscema's pen and ink original art for page 15 of the Jan. 1990 issue of "The Spectacular Spider-Man" #160, published by Marvel. Buscema is noted for his work on 1970s issues of "Captain America, Defenders, Incredible Hulk, Marvel Team-Up" and "Spectacular Spider-Man." Seven panel page features Mary Jane hanging her and Peter Parker's wedding pictures, wishing he was there to help her, only for Spider-Man to appear on the wall, startling her. They proceed to get into a slight argument and discuss Spider-Man's new cosmic powers (which he had recently acquired from Captain Universe). Top margin has double stamped title and handwritten issue/page numbers. Margins have scattered production notations. Top margin also has been signed in blue ink by Buscema. Exc.
