Item Description
7.75x25.5" thin artboard w/India ink original art in by "Petey Dink" creator Charles A. Voight. Art is c. 1921 and features four panels, w/Petey looking at blown up vacation advertisements, each showing beautiful young woman at "Summer Resorts." After looking at ads for horse back riding, the mountains and the beach, his wife asks whether they should go to the country or the beach for the summer, to which Petey replies "Search Me! - It's All The Same To Me." Voight has signed last panel. Pin holes at left corners and across top/bottom margins. 2.5" long edge stain at upper left w/small margin tear. Faint 1.25" spot of moisture on second panel, but this is only really noticeable upon close inspection. Artboard is Fine overall w/VF art. Jan Wahl Collection.
