Item Description
Pair of vellum sheets w/mixed media original art for proposed signs promoting 1950s "Jiggle Ball Puzzles/Jiggle Puzzles" premiums. First sheet measures10-7/8x14-7/8" and features image of children playing w/dexterity palm puzzles and stack of the premiums w/clown-faced one at top. Hand-lettered text includes - Play With Them - Collect Them - Wear Them On - Beanies, Lapels, Jackets And As Puzzle Charms" w/additional text noting "A Dozen Different Puzzles To Play With! A Puzzle In Every Package Of..." w/square provided for product box w/"Your Product" text. Back has been partially colored for display effect. Second sheet measures 13.75x16-5/8" and features similar design, but w/non distinct image on top puzzle. Another difference is in hand-lettered text at top that reads "Now Roy Rogers Plastic Jiggle Puzzles - You Can Get - Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Trigger, Gun Play - A Different Puzzle In Every Package" w/bottom design same as on previous sheet. Horizontal fold at center. Both sheets show scattered handling wear/aging and scattered dust soiling. Fine overall. Sheets come w/pair of 1-5/8" dia. stiff paper discs w/original art under clear thin plastic covers. One depicts clown while other looks similar to Blue Bonnet Butter mascot. NM. Unique lot.
