14.5x22.25" artboard w/nine panels of India ink original art by Clarence D. Russell (1895-1963) for Nov. 17, 1940 Sunday page for "Pete The Tramp," which was distributed by King Features Syndicate for more than three decades. Artboard shows Pete as soldier, marching in formation as multiple marching orders are shouted by sergeant. Last panel shows him in locked Guard House at night after asking "Listen, Sarge - Why The Sam Hill Don't You Make Up Your Mind Just What You Want?" Last panel has KFS copyright strip. Margins have printer labels at top bottom corners. Artboard is lightly aged and VF overall, but art remains clean and VF/Exc.
