Item Description
Double-sided 8x8.5" prototype premium viewer w/revolving insert wheel. 1954. Front has hand-lettered "Black And White TV Was Fine But......." text w/die-cut TV screen allowing for viewing of 12 black and white printed images of Barney Bear attempting to shoot bow and arrow. Opposite side has hand-lettered text that reads "Now Color For '54 TV" and features different die-cut TV screen w/12 color printed images of Droopy Dog watering small flower, which quickly grows and dumps water on him. TV screens are situated in great mid-century modern home interiors w/ nicely finished all original art. Some lt. staple wear/aging at top/bottom margins, but o/w Exc. Neat concept promotional prototype. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
