11x16" mat contains 7.5x12.75" piece of artboard (actually the back of Schulz's "Peanuts" daily strip stock) w/pen and ink original art by "Peanuts" creator Charles Schulz for 1970s Butternut Bread advertising campaign. Art features "Peanuts" mainstays Linus, Lucy, Charlie Brown and Snoopy as well as Frieda, who stands below hand-lettered word balloon asking "Why Is It So Great?" as the rest reply "Because It's Fresh, Tender, Lovable, Etc." Snoopy appears to be sleeping on his back beside Schulz's signature at lower right. Exc. and ready for framing.
