Item Description
"Death's Head II/Punisher" was a proposed Marvel UK book that was canceled when the US-format Genesis 92 line succumbed to the imploding market in early 1994. Amazing pen and ink original art two-page splash page measures 16-3/8x20-5/8" and consists of two 10.25x16-3/8" artboards attached along center via tape on back. Original art by Bryan Hitch features great action image of The Punisher and Death's Head II w/their backs against a wall, guns blazing. Several defeated foes lay at their feet and bullet casings fly through the air as Death's Head bleeds from several bullet wounds. Art has been inked by Andy Lanning. Top left margin has handwritten title and "Promotional Piece #1" notation. Artboards have slight margin trims, but art remains clean and Exc. Jason Taulbee Collection.
