Item Description

First is large and impressive 14.5x23" thin artboard that has mixed media painting depicting Superman flying over water. "Daily Planet" building can be clearly seen in cityscape. Original art by Ken Branch, who worked for DC Comics in the 1990s. Signed in black ink at lower right, adding "'06" date and also signed and dated on back in blue ink. Next is 14x17" watercolor on paper of Superman tearing steel apart by artist Tony DeZuniga. Last is Superman flying upward over the "Daily Planet" building by artist John Estes. Artboards have slight ripple from watercoloring as painted, but o/w Exc. All ready to be framed and hung. Franco Toscanini Collection.
