9.25x12-7/8" cardboard countertop standee w/easel back feature great chessboard design w/J. Allen St. John image from cover of the 1922 novel, the fifth in Edgar Rice Burroughs' Barsoom series. First published in "Argosy All-Story Weekly" as a six-part serial in issues for Feb. 18 and 25 and March 4, 11, 18 and 25, 1922, standee advertises the publication as a complete novel by A. C. McClurg in Nov. 1922. Standee also notes Burroughs as "Author Of 'Tarzan Of The Apes'." Standee has some corner tip wear w/1.75" crease at lower right. Fine/VF. Rare.
