See previous item #1280. Published by Dell Publishing Co., Inc. Sept. 1930. Final issue of this title. Cover features great painted image of deep sea divers locked in battle, as one tries to cut the other's airline while being stabbed by his opponent. A large shadowy submarine can bee seen in the bkg. Issue includes "The Royal Peril" cover story. Cover has slight trim but remains bright, clean and shows little of the typical cover wear w/2" corner crease at bottom right of front cover and 7.5" crease on back cover. Bottom of spine shows some wear. Pages have aged to cream in color but remain supple. VG overall. Rare.
