"Have Gun - Will Travel was a Western TV series that aired on CBS from 1957 through 1963, starring Richard Boone as Paladin. Offered here is a leather jacket w/wool collar that was custom made for Boone byNudie at a cost of around $400. Jacket is of the highest quality and was screen-worn throughout the series as well as in publicity shots, including the one featured on the "Have Gun, Will Travel" Dell comic book and other promotional images included in this lot. Originally given to Arthur Friedrich (prop master on the show) by Boone at the show's end. Comes w/COA from Arthur's son Barry who sold this jacket back in 2007 and it has now been consigned to us by the wife of that purchaser. Also comes w/group of correspondence and photos documenting the history of the jacket and it's connection to the Friedrich family. Jacket shows trace wear/aging and is VF overall. A truly unique and historic piece of memorabilia from one of the all-time great TV Westerns.
