Item Description
8x10" two-sided sheet ©1938. Promotes the scarce set of five 8x10" pictures that were available by redeeming wrappers from Lone Ranger gum. ACC# R83-2. By Gum, Inc. and actually pre-dates their regular gum card set that was released in 1940 (see rare display box #2500). The pictures in this set feature artwork that was not reproduced in the regular gum card issue. The five pictures are featured on the front in an overlap design. The back has detailed text to "Boys And Girls...Friends Of The Lone Ranger" noting the pictures were available individually or all five for different amounts of wrappers and money including a single picture for five wrappers and 3¢ or set of five for 25 wrappers and 10¢. Included is a list of the pictures w/their titles. Lt. trace of aging and edge wear. Clean and VF. We have only offered a few of these in our 49 years. The New England Non-Sports Card Collection.
