Item Description
9x10.25x3.75" deep Art Deco style metal  "Fly TWA - Information" lighted sign from TWA airport counter. Sign has two separate reverse painted panels, w/top panel featuring "Fly TWA" text w/1930s logo w/image of "TWA" DC-3. Bottom panel features "Information" text. Plated metal sign components show aging, luster loss and some oxidation to mounting brackets. VG/Fine. Light works and cord has been replaced at some point. Upper panel has a few stresslines in silver area, bottom panel has some loss to silver paint around letters. Fine overall. First we've seen of this striking early passenger era sign.
