Item Description
Unmarked, but likely a sterling ring with non-adjustable bands. Ring top has die-cut very detailed portrait of Tim, the symbolic boy representative of a clothing store/department store boy's department promotional program which began in 1929 and in the 1940s partnered with Superman in a “Superman-Tim Store” promotional club. This ring is from the 1930s. Tim’s head has been plated in 18K yellow gold and the base which pictures his dog’s head on each side has been plated in 18K white gold. The result is a superb two-tone reflective gold ring that displays Mint. The ring itself is scarce.
