Item Description
Vintage 7-3/8x9-5/8" artboard has wonderful profile image of Superman from the waist up in pencil w/colored penciling to blue and red of his iconic costume. Original art has been signed at bottom by Joe Shuster (1914-1992), who has added "To: Torres Rafael - With Best Personal Wishes From The Creator Of Superman -" inscription. Top/bottom center have thin aged strips of tape as does lower left. These in no way affect art or inscription/signature. Artboard has even aging and art could easily be matted for a VF/Exc. display. Great piece of specialty art from one of Superman's creators. Franco Toscanini Collection.
