Item Description

9x11x3" deep window box has generic Halloween box illustrations. Box stamp label area reads - (What Me Worry?) and has E.C. Publications copyright. 1960. Box shows heavy wear with over half of lid missing. Box bottom remains for the most part structurally sound. Fair. Contained within is Size Small (34-36), 2-piece rayon costume. Top is designed to look like Neuman's signature jacket and tie with a large "button" design reading "MAD's Alfred E. Neuman What-Me-Worry?" Top also bears E.C. Publications Inc. copyright. Top shows light wear and aging, most wear to painted accents along original fold lines. Pants show moderate aging where folded but remains split-free. Costume itself is Fine+. Thin, vacuform plastic mask bears a distinct likeness to Neuman and has two 1/8" splits above his right ear, larger .5" split on ear and smaller .25" split on left side of head. Light dust soiling. VF.
