1-1/8" colorful litho comic book premium button issued in 1942 by Flash Comics. This button was sent to those submitting a reader survey coupon in All-Flash #6 (July, 1942). The first thousand respondents also received a free copy of All-Flash #7. Button has a shallow vertical dent 1/4" long between the words "The" and "Flash." There is a noticeable white scratch line that runs from just below his chin line upwards to the corner of his right eye. There are two other small white scratch marks on the inner surface of his helmet and above this a small spot of white bkg. paint is off plus about 9 short hairline white scratches each 1/16" or less that removes a little of the red or yellow coloring around the letters "ASH" of "FLASH." A final pair of tiny 1/16" scratches appear around the right side of the word "MAN" on the bottom rim. While defects are obvious, his image is largely intact and the coloring is still very strong.
