First is 7x10". 68 pages. 1949. Text is in Japanese and printed back to front by American standards. Minimal English text includes cover reading "The Baseball Monthly." Inside front page has fold out and following pages titled "Welcome San Francisco Seals." Seals were a minor league team that played in the Pacific Coast League from 1903-1957. Joe DiMaggio (shown on back cover in New York uniform) played for the Seals 1933-1935. A two-page article is included on DiMaggio titled "All Star 1949" and includes his stats from 1933-49. 1.5" split at top spine. Aged. Overall remains tight. Fine. Also comes with "True Comics" #71 May, 1946. Cover features Joe DiMaggio and interior story "Joe DiMaggio The Yankee Clipper." 1.5" tear to page prior to DiMaggio's story. Cover has aging along top margin with tears and chips. VG overall.
