2.5x7x8" tall from c. 1950 series of banks marked on underside "Reproduced From Original In Collection Of The Book Of Knowledge." This is a reproduction of the 1885 bank by Shepherd Hardware. This series of banks is listed on page 101 of the 11th edition of O'Brien's Collecting Toys price guide. Horse is designed w/opened mouth for holding coin. A lever in the back is pulled causing the horse's head to bow down as he drops a coin into an opening. A few tiny and widely scattered paint flakes including .25" streak on right side of neck where it rubs against body during operation. Still N. Mint. Missing trap.
