This is a rare, apparently store-bought ring, in a large ring size 9.5 and made with a non-adjustable band. We had a very worn example back in Auction #167 missing all its luster and Auction #203 we had one with some exterior silver loss that exceeded $700.00. This example has 100% of its silver luster on the exterior but is missing 50% from the interior surface. Each side of the ring has a pair of overlapping boxing glove designs. Ring top has his portrait with a vertical wreath accent on each side and below is a raised panel bearing his signature. The inner band surface carries the trademark of ring maker Uncus. This ring is Fine overall but exterior displays Mint.
